About functions of parts
Component name | Role |
---|---|
Compressor | Device which can condense and liquefy low temperature/pressure refrigerant gas coming from an evaporator by compressing |
Condenser | Condense and liquefy high temperature/pressure refrigerant gas coming from a compressor by sucking water or air |
Circulation Pump | Device which helps circulation inside the evaporator and load by sucking cooled objects stored in a water tank |
Accumulator | Role to prevent liquid compression and protect the compress key by separating refrigerant liquid in sucked gas and sucking only vapors into a heat exchanger |
Oil Separator | Device which recover s only oil by separating refrigerant and oil flowing into the pipe from a compressor |
Receiver Tank | Role to supply liquid-refrigerant(gas in medium temperature and high pressure) condensed in a condenser to the expansion part by temporarily storing |
Filter Dryer | Role to remove water inside refrigerant when refrigerant liquid passing a dryer |
Sight Glass | Device which enables to check the flow of refrigerant liquid(gas) with eyes |
Shut-Off Valve | Valve used when locking refrigerant liquid(gas) forcefully(caution : don’t lock arbitrarily) |
Solenoid Valve | Valve which controls the flow of refrigerant by receiving electric signals from outside(control from the control panel) |
Expansion Valve | Maintain temperature difference at an appropriate value by converting the medium refrigerant into low temperature/pressure by throttle |
FUSIBLE PLUG | Prevent a lethal breakdown of the facility by releasing high-temperature gas to protect freezing facilities etc. through melting metal parts when the pressure released from a chiller becomes high |
Water Supply | Line and device for filling and supplementing water into a water tank and usually use ball tops |
Comp module | Role to protect the compressor by electrically blocking the thermostat(temperature controller) inside(or outside) of the compressor when the compressor runs in overload due to electric overload, shortage of refrigerant and heated operation of sucked gas etc. |
HEATER | Role to heat water or fluid up to the desired setting temperature |
Water Tank | Role to store water, oil or other fluid flown from the load |
Water Drain | Valve and line used when releasing liquid inside water tanks and water pipes to outside |
Water Pressure Gauge | Show the pressure at the exit of the cooled brine pump and maintain 1~3kg/㎠ usually |
High- Pressure Gauge | It shows compressed pressure in the compressor of refrigerant and increases in case of poor condensation |
Low- Pressure Gauge | Indicate the pressure of refrigerant compressed in a compressor and the shortage or low temperature of refrigerant becomes the cause of low pressure |
High- Pressure Control | Dual safety device which prevents combustion and damage of equipment when temperature rising due to poor condensation |
Low- Pressure Control | Block decrease in chilling in advance when refrigerant is leaking or short |
Level Sensor | Safety device which stops operation of a machine by detecting the shortage of liquid inside a water tank due to evaporation and leaking |
By-Pass Valve | Device which helps water flow smoothly with self-diagnosis of water pressure |
